Shipping & Refunds

What is your shipping policy?

All orders are shipped via FedEx. Once your order ships, you'll receive a shipping confirmation email from us, which will include a tracking number. We are currently shipping our soup one day a week from our fulfillment center on Wednesdays and standard shipping is generally 1-2 business days. We cannot guarantee the time frame or shipment delivery date for any shipping method, but we will try our very best to get you your soup in a timely manner.

Risk of Loss: In order to make sure you get your delivery safe and sound and as quickly as possible, please use the tracking information we provide. 

If there is a problem with your delivery please contact us immediately at and we will do our best to rectify the situation.

Order Arrival: Our soups should be refrigerated or frozen upon delivery to ensure freshness.

Where do you deliver?

We currently deliver from our fulfillment center in New Jersey to anywhere in the United States except Alaska and Hawaii. We are currently unable to ship to international addresses or to P.O. Boxes.

What if I want to make a return?

All sales are final. We do not accept returns for our food products or offer refunds based on personal taste, but we will issue credit or refund for products that are damaged en route to their destination on a case-by-case analysis. To seek credit, please email us at with the following information:

Order number, damaged product item description, condition of damaged product upon arrival, date and time package was received.



How long will my soups stay fresh? Should I refrigerate or freeze them? 

You can keep our soup unopened in the refrigerator for up to 30 days and in the freezer for up to one year. If opened, you can keep in the refrigerator for up to five days.

Are your soups gluten free? 

Seven out of eight are! Our Tuscan Bean & Mushroom is the only soup that is not gluten free.

Are your soups vegan? 

Yes, but we don’t believe in labels. However you choose to eat, everyone can benefit from more plants in their diet. 

Do you use organic ingredients? 

We always strive to source organically from our trusted farmers and suppliers. While our products contain organic ingredients, that are not certified organic. 

What’s so special about your soups? 

Our soups are rooted in real, clean ingredients that have been responsibly sourced and specially crafted by a four-time James Beard Award winning chef. They are nutritious, delicious and do good by helping to put fruits and vegetables on the tables of low-income families.


How To Use

How do I defrost my soup? 

The best way is to remove your soup from the freezer and place it in the refrigerator overnight. But if you can’t wait that long to enjoy your soup, we understand, and recommend leaving your soup in the sealed bag and putting it in a bowl or sink of hot water until it’s defrosted enough to break apart into pieces. Then, transfer the soup from the bag into a microwave-safe container and defrost in the microwave for 5 to 7 minutes.  

How do I cook my soup? 

For best results, we recommend cooking on a stovetop, but understand that sometimes there just isn’t enough time.  

STOVETOP: Cut a corner of the bag with scissors and pour product into a heavy saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until hot (165°F). Do not boil. 

MICROWAVE: Cut a corner of the bag with scissors and pour product into a microwave-safe container. Cover loosely with microwavable plastic wrap or paper towel. Heat on high for about 1 to 2 minutes (for an 8oz serving), stirring at least once halfway through. Use CAUTION when removing from the microwave as the product and container will be VERY hot.



What are your boxes made of?

100% recycled cardboard.

Can I recycle the boxes?

You can break them down and include them with your curbside recycling. Or get creative and use them to build a fort or the ultimate robot costume. For your kids, of course. 

What about the insulation? 

Yes, that can also be included with your curbside recycling.
